Welcome to a new thing called Friday Freebies – 7 free apps, one for each day of the week. They’re ones that we at iPadAppsHub have been using ourselves and feel are worth sharing. The criteria: We aim for a variety of topics and publishers, and try to find the apps that haven’t yet hit the big time (although certainly it’s hard to avoid a couple top-10 favs). Lite apps that hound the user to upgrade are not allowed. Minor UI flaws are overlooked because of the price tag. The top free apps are entrenched in an epic game of musical chairs. Just the other day, the #1 slot was occupied by at least 3 different apps; a new winner every time I loaded the app store. Like 4th of July fireworks, most explode on the scene as a momentary delight – and then fizzle into oblivion. In the midst of all the chaos however, Netflix has managed to keep on the list of top 10 free apps since the beginning of April.
